ClarityTV is an adults-only service. You must be at least 18 years old to browse readers, hold a balance, or take a call. This page explains how we check and what happens if someone under 18 gets through.
The requirement
Readings are charged per minute and are sold as adult entertainment. Access is limited to people aged 18 or over. There are no exceptions, including with a parent’s permission.
How we check
- On arrival. Before you can use the site you are asked to confirm that you are 18 or older. Your answer is remembered in your browser so you are not asked on every visit.
- At payment. Adding a balance requires a payment method in your own name. Our payment processor applies its own checks, which are generally not available to minors.
- On the call. Readers are instructed to end a call immediately if the caller appears to be under 18, and to report it to us.
- On review. Where an account raises concern, we may ask for proof of age before it can be used again, and we may suspend it while we wait.
Confirming your age on this site is a statement you are making to us. Making it falsely is a breach of our Terms of Service.
If a minor uses the service
As soon as we know or reasonably suspect that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it, stop any call in progress, delete the personal information we are not required to keep, and refund any unused balance to the payment method that funded it.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used ClarityTV, write to [SUPPORT EMAIL] with the phone number involved. We will act on it and confirm back to you.
Advice for parents
If a child has access to a phone that can call premium numbers, it is worth talking to your carrier about call barring, and using the parental controls built into the phone. Filtering software such as Net Nanny, Qustodio or the controls built into iOS and Android can block this site directly. Keeping payment methods off shared devices helps too.
Our records
We keep a record of age confirmations, together with the date and the account they relate to, so we can show that the check was made. What we keep and for how long is described in our Privacy Policy.
Questions
If you have a question about this policy, or you want to report an account you believe belongs to a minor, contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Reports are treated confidentially and acted on quickly.
